Joe's Real Rolls Support

Release Notes

Customer-facing changes in Joe's Real Rolls 1.31.5 and recent releases.

Updated for version 1.31.5

Version 1.31.5

  • Added Advanced Mixed Dice Training for collecting a complete polyhedral set through natural full-set rolls, with guided die-type and value review.
  • Retained same-type multi-die Natural Roll Training, giving players a faster choice for expanding one die type at a time.
  • Improved training-image review with clearer quality guidance before personal-model training.
  • Added an optional focus handoff that can bring Joe's Real Rolls forward for a requested roll and return you to the game after the result is sent.
  • Improved Foundry reconnection, Dice Set training dates, update-check presentation, application-window placement, and Factory Baseline status visibility.
  • Retains the ready-to-use Factory Baseline, which can be used on day one and replaced with a personal model trained for your own dice.
  • Supports up to two simultaneous application installations with one subscription.

Version 1.31.3

  • Replaced the Current Roll text summary with compact, clickable graphical dice cards ordered by die size, confidence-colored values, scrolling for large rolls, and a clearer total display.
  • Simplified recognition labels and accuracy information, aligned Dice Set controls, and made integration status easier to open.
  • Added Windows Camera Settings access from both the main window and camera settings.
  • Improved lighting guidance for colored rolling surfaces with clearer exposure, glare, stability, uniformity, and representative-die contrast checks.
  • Clarified recognition-training status and expanded Factory Baseline backup, restoration, and recovery guidance.

Version 1.31.2

  • Kept the main window responsive while large recognition models and camera frames load.
  • Prevented partially painted startup windows when a Windows camera driver delays its first frame.
  • Improved partial-model training comparisons and automatic Full Rebuild handling.

Version 1.31.1

  • Added the privacy-preserving free trial with up to 100 completed rolls during a 30-day active period.
  • Preserved local setup and training work when moving from trial to full version.
  • Enabled hosted Discord roll delivery and optional Roll20 replay uploads during an active trial.
  • Gave Foundry, Roll20, and Discord a consistent activation workflow with one active integration at a time.
  • Improved edge-of-tray labels, click-to-fix selection, model rebuild recovery, and reviewed-die accuracy counts.

Version 1.31.0

  • Improved compact and scaled display layouts, scrolling, dark-theme contrast, keyboard focus, tooltips, and status colors.
  • Renamed Profiles to Dice Sets and clarified Choose Active Virtual Tabletop.
  • Added individual detection-setting resets, Show Roll History, and clearer numbered training steps.
  • Improved the Lighting Quality Assistant and training-image review on smaller displays.

Version 1.30.19

  • Corrected the shared Fix Die and Fix Roll startup path so corrections open reliably.

Version 1.30.18

  • Added the official Discord pairing and /jrr-roll request experience with reviewed result delivery and optional short replays.
  • Added direct Discord installation, optional message headings, broader Support Chat guidance, and better low-resolution window support.

Version 1.30.16

  • Added Dice Set Profiles, focused recognition for each set, dark-dice adjustments, safe Factory Baseline fallback, and in-app update checks.

Version 1.30.15

  • Improved startup presentation, simplified normal training choices, expanded Help links, and added safer Factory Baseline update and restore guidance.
Training reminder: The Factory Baseline is ready on day one. Personal training can take several careful capture, train, and fresh-roll test cycles. Early imperfections are normal, especially with visually difficult dice.
