Adventures happen between battles, too. The latest development work links travel, conversations, shopping, and rest so the party has reasons to engage with the world outside an encounter.

What we're working on

  • Travel journals give the party a way to move between connected scenes.
  • Settlement merchants and buying and selling are now part of the development work.
  • Rest checks can bring a wandering encounter into the party's plans instead of treating every rest as automatically safe.
  • NPC greetings and conversation improvements aim to make meeting someone feel more natural.

Where things stand

Connected travel, trade, and rest are still development features. Recovery from interrupted actions and behavior across different locations need more testing before we can call the overall flow dependable.

Help shape the next step

On the road, would you most like to discover a useful merchant, a surprising encounter, or a conversation that changes your plans?

Send a suggestion, request email updates, or apply to test. These are separate choices.
