This week's work connects two sides of an AI-led game: creatures that can take part in an encounter, and characters who have something appropriate to say. The focus is on making each interaction fit the creature and the situation.
What we're working on
- The development build includes improvements to NPC turns, movement around obstacles, and reactions during combat.
- NPC dialogue is being shaped more closely around the creature the party is actually interacting with.
- Prepared skill checks, perception discoveries, and stealth actions give players more ways to investigate and respond.
- Campaign guidance is growing beyond a fixed opening, with work on responding to the party's changing direction.
Where things stand
These changes have been brought into the development build. Different creatures, rules interactions, and live encounters still need testing; this is not a claim that every action can be handled autonomously.
Help shape the next step
Which makes the bigger difference to your game: convincing NPC conversations or dependable creature behavior in combat?
Send a suggestion, request email updates, or apply to test. These are separate choices.
